JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Engineer collaborates closely with the Project Management team to plan, coordinate, and ensure the successful execution of all phases of a project, from initial start-up to final close-out.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist project managers in reviewing proposals and plans to establish time frames, funding limitations, and procedures for project completion.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to requirements.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to analyze budget costs for small-scale projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals and project requirements.
- Maintain frequent communication with general contractors, external vendors, and subcontractors.
- Occasionally accompany Project Manager’s to project sites.
- Participate in project start-up and close-out activities.
- Assist in estimating and processing change orders.
- Create an agenda for kickoff and handoff meetings.
- Ensure the required safety documentation is provided to the General Contractor.
- Other duties as designated by the Director and Senior Project Engineer.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ Years experience in Electrical Administration.
- Electrical experience is a plus.
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
BENEFITS:
- Hourly Range: $25.00 – $35.00
