In July of 2020, our Tenant Improvement Team completed the electrical & lighting scope for Modern Times Leisuretown, a 33,000 square foot beer garden, restaurant, and poolside lounge in Downtown Anaheim.
The brewery included four different types of construction:
- A two-story 1911 historic home
- An industrial brewery / bar
- Commercial kitchen
- Multi-Story patio fashioned from shipping containers
This project began with the renovation of a historic house, and highlighted our team’s proficiency in every aspect of our trade. After installing new power, circuitry, and recessed lighting throughout, the end result was a bright and elegant space that guests can enjoy day or night.
Modern Times includes a brewery / bar area with more than 70 tap handles. Our TI Team installed power to all brewery equipment, and helped design and coordinate a trapeze system that carries all utilities through the ceiling.
Serving a vegan-only menu from its commercial kitchen, our team provided power to all kitchen equipment, and completed the start-up of the ANSUL system.
Seating areas include a courtyard, a two-story patio deck made of shipping containers, and a pool area. Exterior lighting and ceiling fans were installed to enhance the outdoor seating experience, some even inside containers.
Our TI Team loved being a part of building Leisuretown. We think the finished product is something truly unique and special.
